Two Sets of Hawen QT10-15 Block Making Machines Successfully Delivered to Client in Egypt

Client Background

In September 2025, during the "Egypt Project 2025" exhibition in Cairo, Hawen Machinery met Brickco, a well-established block manufacturer based in 6th of October City, Egypt. With over 15 years of experience in the local construction materials market, Brickco is recognized as a leading supplier of concrete hollow blocks, solid bricks, and interlocking pavers in Egypt, providing high-quality building solutions to a wide range of construction projects. Although the client was already operating block production equipment, they faced a pressing challenge: existing capacity could not meet the rapidly growing market demand. To overcome this bottleneck, Brickco decided to invest in two new QT10-15 fully automatic block making machines from Hawen Machinery.

Project Background: From Capacity Constraint to Expansion

Prior to this upgrade, Brickco’s production line was limited by output efficiency and cycle stability. Rising construction demand meant longer delivery times and restricted growth potential. The client’s objective was clear: increase output while maintaining consistent block quality and production stability.

Hawen Machinery proposed a solution centered on high-output, fully automated QT10-15 machines, enabling capacity expansion without compromising quality or reliability.

Equipment Configuration and Technical Solution

Mechanical System
The main structure is built from high-strength steel , ensuring uniform material distribution and improved surface quality.
A four-shaft vibration box with eccentric blocks positioned outside the housing reduces vibration resistance, ensures uniform compaction, and lowers cement consumption while maintaining high forming efficiency.

Hydraulic System
An independent hydraulic station provides stable pressure and synchronized movement throughout the forming process. A fan cooler (air-cooled oil cooler) is included to maintain optimal hydraulic oil temperature, ensuring consistent performance during long-term operation.
Key hydraulic components include Japanese YUKEN proportional and directional valves and an American ALBERT hydraulic pump, providing precise control, high load capacity, and reliable operation even under heavy-duty production conditions.

Control System
An intelligent control system coordinates the entire production cycle, ensuring accurate timing, smooth interlocking, and repeatable forming parameters.
The system adopts a SIEMENS S7-200 PLC, paired with a touch panel interface and remote monitoring capability. Real-time tracking and parameter optimization allow the production line to reduce human dependency while maintaining high efficiency and consistent product quality.

Mixing System
The production line is equipped with an MP750 planetary mixer, providing efficient and uniform mixing of cement and aggregates.
Features: High-intensity mixing ensures consistent material homogeneity, which directly contributes to stable block strength and surface quality.
The mixer seamlessly integrates with the QT10-15 forming system, enabling automatic feeding and continuous production.

Pallet System
At the front of the production line, GMT pallets sized 1150 × 950 mm provide high rigidity, long service life, and stable support during vibration and pressing.

Pre-Delivery Testing and Production Verification
Before shipment, both QT10-15 machines underwent full factory testing, including complete block forming trials using different molds:

Solid Bricks
Dimensions: 198 × 58 × 95 mm
Output per mould: 60 pcs
Forming cycle: 16 seconds
Estimated output: 13,500 pcs/hour; 108,000 pcs/8-hour shift

Hollow Blocks
Dimensions: 398 × 148 × 200 mm
Output per mould: 12 pcs
Forming cycle: 19 seconds
Estimated output: 2,100–2,200 pcs/hour

The tests confirmed high output capacity, stable forming performance, and versatility in producing different block types.

Shipment Information

The two QT10-15 machines were shipped by the middle of January via sea freight to Port Said, Egypt.
Estimated transit time: approximately 35–40 days

Conclusion: A Production Line Upgrade with Long-Term Value

With the delivery of the two QT10-15 machines, Brickco’s production line will enjoy significantly increased capacity, improved operational stability, and consistent product quality. Beyond meeting immediate production needs, this upgrade empowers Brickco to respond rapidly to market demand, optimize operational efficiency, and strengthen its competitive position in Egypt’s construction industry.

This project exemplifies Hawen Machinery’s commitment to delivering not just machines, but complete, scalable solutions that enable clients to transform operational challenges into long-term growth opportunities, laying the foundation for sustained success in a competitive market.
