Quanzhou Hawen Machinery has recently completed the production and shipment of two customized Hollow block moulds for a customer in Thailand. Both moulds are designed for a Poyatos Novabloc concrete block-making machine using 1400 × 900 mm production pallets.

Customized Design for Poyatos Novabloc Block Machine
Every concrete block machine has specific requirements regarding mould dimensions, installation points, vibration parameters and production pallet size. Before manufacturing, Hawen Machinery’s technical team carefully reviewed the customer’s machine specifications and block samples.
The two moulds were then customized to match the customer’s Poyatos machine and 1400 × 900 mm production pallets. Special attention was given to cavity arrangement, block spacing and mould structure so that 26 and 28 blocks could be formed efficiently in each production cycle.


High-Capacity Hollow Block Production
Hollow blocks are widely used in floor and roofing systems. Accurate dimensions, uniform shape and sufficient strength are therefore essential for stable installation and reliable construction performance.
The first mould features 26 cavities, producing 26hollow blocks in one cycle. The second mould has an optimized 28-cavity layout, allowing the customer to manufacture 28 blocks per cycle. These high-capacity designs help improve daily output and make better use of the Poyatos machine’s available moulding area.
Precision Manufacturing and Quality Inspection
During production, the main mould components were precisely processed to ensure accurate cavity dimensions and a proper fit with the block-making machine. Careful welding, machining and assembly help maintain the structural stability of the mould under continuous vibration and compression.

After assembly, both hollow block moulds underwent detailed quality inspections. The Hawen Machinery team checked the mould dimensions, cavity layout, tamper-head alignment, installation points and overall compatibility with the Poyatos machine.

The two high-capacity Hollow block moulds have now been shipped to Thailand and will support the customer’s concrete block production with outputs of 26 and 28 pieces per cycle.
