Hawen Solves 2-Hole Brick Stacking Challenge with Customized Offline Cuber System in Vietnam
A customized Hawen Automatic Offline Cuber System, equipped with a servo-controlled brick tilting device, helped a long-term Vietnam customer overcome unstable stacking of upright two-hole concrete bricks.
Request a Customized SolutionFrom Stable Production to a Downstream Handling Bottleneck
In May 2026, a customized Hawen Automatic Offline Cuber System arrived at the production facility of a long-term customer in Vietnam. In early June, Hawen engineers were dispatched to the site for installation, commissioning, operational testing and full integration with the existing concrete block production line.
The customer had previously invested in a Hawen QT12-15 Automatic Block Making Machine and achieved stable production with satisfactory output. As production volumes continued to increase, the collection and stacking stage gradually became the main bottleneck.
Why Upright 2-Hole Bricks Are Difficult to Stack Automatically
Due to the brick geometry and molding orientation, the two-hole concrete bricks were discharged in an upright position. While this was suitable for the forming process, it created significant difficulty during collection, transfer and stacking.
Conventional stacking systems struggled to arrange these bricks efficiently. The result was unstable stacks, frequent manual intervention, higher labor intensity and reduced overall production efficiency.
Servo-Controlled Brick Tilting Device Integrated with the Offline Cuber System
Recognizing that standard equipment alone could not fully meet the customer's production requirements, Hawen's engineering team analyzed the production process, collection line layout and brick characteristics. Instead of applying a generic solution, Hawen developed a customized servo-controlled brick tilting device for the two-hole concrete brick.
Automatic Orientation Adjustment
The device changes the brick orientation before the product enters the offline cuber system.
High-Precision Servo Control
Servo control supports accurate positioning, synchronized movement and continuous operation.
Stable Cubing Performance
Corrected brick orientation enables neat, uniform and stable finished stacks.
Automatic Offline Cubing Line Running Successfully in Vietnam
After installation and commissioning, the upgraded collection line demonstrated a remarkable improvement in automation performance. Bricks are now transferred smoothly from production to cubing without manual adjustment, helping the customer reduce labor intensity and improve line efficiency.
Not Just Equipment, But a Complete Production Solution
This Vietnam project once again highlights Hawen Machinery's capability to deliver more than machinery. As a professional manufacturer of block machines, brick making machines, concrete moulds and complete block production systems, Hawen understands that every market presents unique production challenges.
Through continuous innovation and customer-oriented engineering, Hawen transforms complex manufacturing obstacles into practical and efficient solutions.
Analyze the Real Production Pain Point
Hawen studied the brick shape, output direction, collection line and stacking requirement.
Customize the Automation Mechanism
A servo-controlled tilting device was designed to match the two-hole brick application.
Integrate with Existing Production
The system was installed into the customer's existing Hawen QT12-15 production line.
Frequently Asked Questions About Hawen Offline Cuber Systems
Can Hawen customize an offline cuber system for special brick shapes?
Yes. Hawen can evaluate brick dimensions, production orientation, collection line layout and stacking requirements to design a suitable automatic cubing and handling solution.
Why was a brick tilting device needed for this Vietnam project?
The customer's two-hole concrete bricks came out in an upright position. The customized tilting device adjusted the brick orientation before cubing, allowing the offline cuber to form stable stacks automatically.
What machines can the Hawen offline cuber system work with?
The system can be configured for Hawen automatic block making machines, such as QT series production lines, and can also be adapted according to the customer's existing plant layout.
